Should an accident that may endanger passengers occur, the crew will ensure safety above all else. They will immediately explain how to wear a lifejacket directly to the passengers, help them wear it, and provide any other assistance required by following the instructions of the captain.

Both (1) the large whirlpool sightseeing boat Wonder Naruto and (2) the small underwater whirlpool sightseeing boat Aqua Eddy are equipped with a marine VHF radio, which is used globally, so that patrol vessels of the Japan Coast Guard, other boats, and base stations on the coast can be reached in the case of an emergency.
Mobile phones can be used during the cruise as the boat will be within the coverage of the big three wireless carriers (docomo, au, and Softbank).

*Training is held as needed based on flow charts prepared for various conceivable emergency situations (bodily injury, accident, engine trouble, fire, and person overboard).
